Our CSA ends the second week of November, but we have you covered for your Thanksgiving feast as well. We are offering a Thanksgiving Vegetable Box that is perfect for preparing a delightful locavore’s Thanksgiving. Most of the contents will store very nicely as well, so these boxes are great for stocking the fridge for the entire holiday season. It’s very easy to sign-up just click here choose your pick-up location and you’re on your way.
Each box will contain a full bushel of fall vegetables – at least a $50 value – for just $35. The Boxes are delivered the week before Thanksgiving to pick-up locations in Ithaca, Auburn, Cortland, and Syracuse. Our pick-up locations are paired down a bit, but whenever possible we tried to choose locations that will also have free-range or organic turkeys for sale.
It’s a little bit tough to tell exactly what we’ll have to put in the boxes – it depends upon the weather – but it should be something like: an assortment of winter squash, onions, leeks, beets, carrots, turnips, Brussels sprouts, collards, kale, cabbage, potatoes, celeriac, and maybe some fennel.
Pick-ups are on Saturday November 17th, Tuesday November 20th, and Wednesday November 21st – depending upon the pick-up location.

Ithaca: Ithaca Farmers Market on Saturday, and the Piggery on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Lansing: Peoples Market on Tuesday
Homer/Cortland: Oh My Goodness Health Food on Tuesday
Auburn: Hoopes Park Neighborhood pick-up on Tuesday
Syracuse Area: Real Food Coop, Green Planet Grocery, Balanced Life Chiropractic in DeWitt, and Greene Ivy Florist in B’ville – all on Tuesday
