Our Auburn Neighborhood Pick-up Site is conveniently located near Hoopes Park. This Neighborhood Pick-up Site is hosted by one of our CSA members out of their homes. We’re so grateful to members that open up their garages and porches to serve as pick-up sites. Part of our mission is strengthening the local community through access to fresh healthy food. Our neighborhood pick-up sites serve as weekly meetings for neighbors to get together and share in the harvest. Food and community centered conversations take place, as relationships are strengthened through this weekly meet-up. We hope to contribute to neighborhood cohesion by fostering engagement between residents. Our Hoopes Park pick-up site is located at 115 S Herman Ave in Auburn NY, and is graciously hosted by Reingard Mizra, Diane Bellnier-Bauso, and Betsy York. Pick-up day has changed from Thursday to Wednesday for 2015.
CSA Share Options. We deliver two different size CSA Shares to the Hoopes Park Location. The Premium CSA Share is ideal for larger households and serious vegetable lovers. The Premium CSA Share is packed in a 3/4 bushel box, with 40-45 servings and 10-12 different vegetables each week. The Premium CSA Share is $575 for the season, just $25 each week. The Basic CSA Share is great for smaller households. The Basic CSA Share is just a little smaller, in a 1/2 bushel box with 30-35 servings each week and 7-9 different vegetables. The Basic CSA Share is only $20 per week or $460 for the seasons, payable in one payment or 5 equal payments.
Member Benefits. Our CSA Shares come in 2 sizes so you can pick the right share for your household size. In addition to weekly deliveries of certified organic veggies our members enjoy a 20% discount at our farmers’ market stands and a weekly meal plan for each box. The meal plan comes with an easy to download shopping list, prep tips, and more. Pick-up shares and a la carte items from CSA+ at this site.
There is a 2% discount for full payment! We also offer the Academic Season Share, designed for anyone not in Central New York during the CSA Season. Do you have other travel plans?
