Come to Our Open House and Get Your Fall Pumpkin
Have you ever wanted an opportunity to visit the farm and see where all of your delicious veggies come from? If so, you’re in luck! On Sunday, October 13th from 2-6pm we are hosting an open house at the farm and you are invited! Featuring contributions from Bet the Farm Winery, Autumn Harvest Farm, Turek Farms, Pumpkin Hill Bistro, West Haven Farm and the Binghamton Farm Share, the open house is an exciting opportunity to visit the farm, meet some of your fellow CSA members and pick up a few seasonal favorites such as hearty pumpkins and pecks of delicious apples.
The open house also serves as a fundraiser for VINES (click here to learn more), a Binghamton-area organization that strives to make CSA shares available to food insecure households. All proceeds from the sales of pumpkins will go to support VINES and their efforts to improve the lives of people throughout their service area. We here at Early Morning Farm are proud to be doing our part to aid in this noble cause and hope you’ll consider joining us in lending a hand (and get a beautiful pumpkin or two at the same time!).
So, stop by, grab a cup of cider and see what all the fuss is about! The fall harvest is well underway but many crops are still coming in so the fields are bursting with produce. Take a guided walk through the farm and put your fingers in the very earth that bore the vegetables you’ve been enjoying all season long.
