How to Chop a Celeriac

If you feel like you don’t know where to start when tackling this knobby root vegetable, don’t fret!  We’ve broken it down into simple steps here.

Rinse the celeriac as best you can.  Dirt is obviously going to be nestled in the craggy crevices.  I give it a final rinse once it’s peeled.  Remove the top and bottom. Expect to lose about 1/4 of the celeriac during prep.

Once the top and bottom are removed the skin comes off surprisingly easily with a potato peeler.  Give the knife and celeriac one final rinse.
