Weekly Meal Plan:
Week 22 of our 23 season has arrived! It’s been a busy week on the farm prepping for the winter share boxes, filling our cold storage with roots and other veggies, along with harvesting and packing CSA shares of course! This week’s share is filled with fall bounty – parsnips, 2 varieties of squash, Brussels Sprouts, and lovely fall radishes. It’s an off week for beets, so you’ll find carrots in your box this week. As the CSA Season winds down we’re still so busy in the farm office getting ready for winter shares, and our 2015 season. Read on for more info about early sign-up discounts (this month only!), winter shares (sign-up ends soon!), and Thanksgiving turkeys from our friends at Good Life Farm! News from the Farm.
Thanksgiving Turkeys. We don’t raise any livestock – but friends of ours do! We’re putting in a plug for our friends at
The Good Life Farm – they raise Certified Organic pasture fed turkeys. And they’ll deliver them to some of our Winter CSA pickup locations on the same day as your pickup. There is a $40 deposit to reserve your turkey. If you are interested please contact Melissa Madden from the Good Life Farm directly, her email is

Early Renewal Discounts! Renew your share or sign-up before November 30th for a 2015 CSA Share and receive 10% off with full payment. We are also offering a 5% discount on payment plans. Make one payment now, and the remaining four monthly payments in March, April, May, and June. The 10% discount is equal to over 2 free weeks of vegetables, and the 5% discount is equal to over 1 week of free vegetables. As the main season is winding down we’re planning our seed and other orders for the 2015 season. We receive early discounts from our suppliers, so we are able to pass these discounts on to our members for early renewal.

Winter Share Sign-ups are starting! This is our third year offering Winter CSA Share boxes. Winter Share Boxes are packed in a full bushel box and filled to the brim with certified organic veggies. Boxes are delivered the week before Thanksgiving, and mid-December. 75+ servings of root vegetables, winter squash, hearty greens, and more.
