Pick-up your CSA Share and a great cup of coffee at Recess Coffee in Syracuse on Tuesdays. Recess Coffee is open late – until 12am, which makes this one of our most convenient pick up sites, members have 8 hours to pick-up their shares. Recess Coffee roasts all of their coffee beans in house in small batches, using fairly traded and organic beans. They have a great selection of baked goods and sandwiches including vegan and non-vegan options. They also offering catering and mobile coffee options, they’ll bring their great coffee right to you. Recess Coffee is located at 110 Harvard Place, in the Westcott Neighborhood. We have two other Westcott area pick-up sites, Real Food Co-op and a Neighborhood Pick-up site, hosted by one of our members on Cumberland Ave.
We deliver two different size Neighborhood CSA Shares to Recess Coffee, the Basic CSA Share and the Premium CSA Share. The Premium CSA Share is the larger of the two and yields 40-45 servings and 10-12 different varieties every week. Designed for larger households and serious vegetable lovers this share is filled to the brim in a 3/4 bushel box each week. For smaller households we have the Basic CSA Share, a 1/2 bushel box filled with 7-9 varieties of vegetables and30-35 servings each week. All of our vegetables are grown locally on our family owned farm, and certified organic. The Main CSA Season runs from mid-June through mid-November and we also have a shorter Academic Season Share. Anyone can sign-up for the Academic Season which runs from the last week in August through mid-November. The Academic Season Share comes in a Basic CSA Share Box.
