Spring Fever!

Wow, we’re running the chisel plow through the fields again! Just a few days ago it seemed like it was going to stay a cold, wet spring… Forever! But, as often happens with farming, all of the sudden things have changed. The soil looks perfect, and it now it won’t be long until parsnips, peas, spinach, and carrots all get seeded into the ground. Just last week we were looking for cleanup jobs for the crew but now we’ll be busy digging sunchokes and transplanting onions, leeks, kale, cabbage, and broccoli for weeks. Here We Go!
