CSA Members enjoy more than just a fresh box of vegetables every week, with a share in our farm members also receive a meal plan with 5 easy recipes AND a discount at our Farmers’ Market booths! We introduced the meal plan last year and members loved it. Serving plant based meals with fresh local ingredients can be easy with a little advance planning, and we strive to make it as easy as possible for our members. To accommodate as many diets as we can our meal plans include choices for Omnivores, Vegetarians, and Gluten Free (with vegetarian options!). Whenever possible we try to offer alternate ideas for vegan or paleo diets within each recipe.
How Does the Meal Plan Work?
CSA Members receive an e-mail each week when our delivery van leaves the farm. The e-mail contains a list of the vegetables in this week’s share, and links to our Vegetable Guide pages with storage info, pictures, and more. We’ll include 5 recipes that are tailored to each share’s contents and an easy to download or print shopping list. Local Ingredients can be picked up at many of our convenient Pick-up Locations.

About the Recipes
We appeal to as many different diets as we can, and use local ingredients often. Each week usually includes a salad, and the Omnivore Meal Plan includes meat a few nights each week. The recipes focus on a fresh plant based diet. You might already have a lot of the ingredients on hand, especially if you check out our post on Stocking Your Pantry for Easy CSA Meals. There’s a good balance of easy meals and more intricate preparations. With almost 500 recipes in our index, and counting, you’re sure to find an alternative any time.
