The CSA Harvest!
As of the writing of this post, the weather forecast for the weekend is calling for a hard freeze with a low of 26º F on Sunday night. We’re busy covering crops and harvesting as much as we can before the freeze hits, but the weekend could effect crop selection these last few weeks. of the CSA.
We’ve been getting questions about when exactly the Summer CSA ends – The last week for this CSA season is November 10th – 14th. Ok, here’s the forecast for next week:
Likely:
Butternut Squash
Sweet Dumpling Squash
Kale
Fennel
Red Cabbage
Carrots
Beets
Also Possible:
Celery
Dill
Parsley
Peppers and Eggplant if we can get them in before it freezes.
