Enjoying the Harvest
Somewhere back in the early days of Early Morning Farm someone started referring to the month of October as Rock-tober! Rock-tober because October harvest truly does Rock! We are done planting (except for Garlic), we are done weeding so pretty much all that is left is Harvest, Washing, and Packing for the rest of the season. Massive harvests of Cabbage, Winter Squash, Parsnips, Beets, Kale, Broccoli, and Turnips are all being brought in. So much of it that it looks like we are going to be able to offer not only a Thanksgiving Box (like we did last year) – but also a December Holiday Box and a January Root Cellar Box! Each box will have a full bushel of produce in it – and most of the contents will store very well so they can be used over several weeks. Boxes can be purchased separately for $45 each, or save a few bucks and buy all three for $124.50.
