If you’re in the Cortland or Homer area you don’t want to miss the exciting events Cortland Blooms has scheduled for this Sunday April 27th. The Green Fair starts at 11am and features exhibits from local businesses and groups committed to sustainability at a local level. We’ll be sharing information about our Neighborhood CSA Shares from 11am – 3pm. Cortland residents can pick up their CSA Share right on Main St in Homer at Oh My Goodness Health Food, on Thursdays during our Main CSA Season. We offer two different size shares to CSA Members. The Basic Share contains 7-9 different varieties of certified organic vegetables each week, and 30-35 servings. The Basic Share comes in 1/2 bushel box. The Premium Share fills a 3/4 bushel box to the brim with 10-12 different varieties of certified organic veggies grown on our family owned farm. The Premium share will contain 10-12 different varieties each week and 40-45 servings.
The Green Fair at Cortland Blooms will take place at the Cortland County Office Building Gymnasium at 60 Central Ave. Cortland Blooms will take place over three locations, the Cortland County Office Building Gymnasium, the Cortland Corset Company (Meet your Maker – visit with local Artisans), and the Red Brick Church (speakers and Art Fair). There is so much more to this Community Earth Day Festival including music, art, activities for kids, and plant sales.
