This week I met with the Ilene Cunningham the owner of Greene Ivy Florist in Baldwinsville about her interest in adding a Syracuse CSA pick-up location at her store. I was impressed with her clean, well kept flower shop, there is plenty of parking and ample room for our boxes of produce. I was also impressed with Ilene’s interest and dedication to the local foods movement, not only is she interested in our CSA program, but she has also been working on putting together a farmers’ market for the Baldwinsville community.
It’ll take a few weeks to put together signs and flyers to promote our new site, but it’s not at all to early to sign-up. We offer our large shares, designed for a full family, as well as our small share option. We hope to have a great turnout for the newest addition to our Syracuse area pick-up locations!
