Last season we did a Thanksgiving share at the end of the season and people LOVED it! So, we’re doing it again this year – but that’s not all – We’re also offering a Holiday Share in December and a January Share box in mid January $45 for each full bushel box, or buy all three for $125.
We will be delivering our Winter CSA boxes on an abbreviated delivery route schedule. Not all of our Summer CSA pickup locations will be available, but we did our best to design our winter route so that folks don’t have to travel too far to pick-up their box. All of the pickup locations on our winter route are on Tuesdays. (Except the Saturday Ithaca Farmers Market)
Here’s the Delivery Dates:
Thanksgiving Boxes – Tuesday, Nov 26 – Sat Nov 23rd
December Boxes – Tuesday Dec 17, Sat Dec 21
January Boxes – Tuesday Jan 21, Sat Jan 18
Of course, content may vary a bit depending upon how the harvest turns out and storage yields. But you can get a pretty good feel for the winter box contents from the info graphics to the right. Keep in mind that most of the items in these boxes will store extremely well, the boxes contain quite a bit more than a typical summer share and can be used over several weeks.
